Meet the hype woman behind the camera

Hey, I'm Nikki (she/her)

I'm a proud, queer photographer with a heart for storytelling and a big love for creating spaces where people can breathe, be themselves and have a damn good time even in front of a camera.

Brighter Days Photography

The name comes from the feeling of holding onto hope, celebrating who we are and chasing the brighter days we dreamed of as kids.

Brighter Days is a promise

A promise to hold space for your story. It’s a celebration of love, authenticity and the moments that make life worth remembering, especially in a time when being seen and celebrated matters more than ever.

This is a safe, affirming place where you can show up fully as yourself, knowing your story will be honored with care.

This space is for you.

The Support Team

Brighter Days Photography is run by me, but it absolutely wouldn't exist without the joys and support that make up my everyday life. My girlfriend, Delanie, has been my biggest cheerleader. She pushes me to be my best, believes in me on the days I doubt myself, and is always willing to jump in front of the camera when I need to work something out creatively.

Frankie is my 5-year old chihuahua-dachshund mix who is a little unhinged and will probably bark her head off at you, but she loves us fiercely and I love that about her. Roo is Delanie's very lovable 5-year-old Brittany spaniel, also known as my baby cow. They all make me laugh every day and keep me grounded in ways I didn't know I needed.

It might seem silly to include this, but this is my little family, and they mean everything to me. Brighter Days wouldn't be here without them.
